My Journal: Quilting

Yesterday as I was getting ready for the day this thought crossed my mind. I stopped and wrote it down.

I desire to do Your will, Father

I need nothing more,

I want nothing less.

This is the exact prayer of my heart.

Last night I watched myself on video. It was the video of the Gathering speaking on homemaking. It is so hard to watch yourself though I am know it was good for me. I learned a lot about what I need to improve and so on. It was so funny to watch though! Anywayz …

I have finished piecing my wall-hanging quilt! It is so beautiful. Now I just have to machine quilt it. And I will be done. Mrs. Krause, a lady here on staff has been so sweet to teach me everything she can about quilting. It is so nice to have someone ready to teach you like that.

I have a sweet story about my Great Grandma’s quilting I will post here soon. She passed the tradition on to her daughter, grand-daughter and great grandaghter, Me.

Today it is gray, but I have so many neat things to do. I can look forward to today… yet VERY ready for spring and summer more so than any other year it seems.
