It seems to often I see those who seem to grow up with such a strong faith in God those who seem to have it all going for them spiritually those who seem to have things going in the right direction completely fall away from the Lord and their walk with Him. They make choices that will literally ruin their lives and they have been WARNED about for ALL of their lives. I rack my mind to figure out how this happens and why and…. to tell you the truth it scares me. I don’t want to be one of those victims of satan’s cruel and vicious attacks.
One night I had some girls I had taken to the Northwoods to disciple and encourage in the Lord. It seemed that satan would show up every time and though he had no power over us in Christ their would be fears of different things… even I would be and I don’t get scared too often. Anyway one night we were out singing to the Lord while we looked up at the stars. Those times were special. Although some of the girls got scared at one point and thinking they heard something in the woods ran inside. The next morning I was talking to the to one of the people in charge of the conference center and she told me “Oh yeah well we do have coyotes who will take a deer and shake it so hard that we will find pieces of the deer in the trees” Let’s just say the girls didn’t want to go back outside after that story.
To me that is what satan wants to do with us as God’s children and he is doing! He doesn’t have you in the end but he wants to ruin your life and your testimony here on earth. He really, really does. I see it happen all the time. I think each of us need to check our pulse spiritually. We really do. Do you have a real, alive relationship with Jesus today? Tonight? Do watch and pray? If you don’t you could so easily be next. Do you have a heart beat – spiritually? It’s scary times and the evil one is out to destroy you. Destroy your very life and he enjoys it. Don’t let him have the joy. Stay close to Jesus… always bring His Name the glory He deserves. God help us.

That is a very powerful post. I never visit here but oddly enough it is precisely what I needed to hear. I wish I could be more diligent in regards to what you mentioned and unfortunately can relate.
