Man Up Detroit

Last night I want with my little rapper brother Wesley and our church group to a big church in downtown Detroit. I was kinda scared at first. I didn’t know what to expect! But as I listened to guys talk about being real men and loving Jesus in each area of their life. It was so touching to me to see this. I prayed that I too would be a woman of God. It was so encouraging to see guys, talk about Jesus and telling so many young men that Jesus is the only way to get that. And then at the end to see one of them share the gospel so clear. It touched my heart and made me think about the Man Christ Jesus. I liked a couple of songs a lot. One was “Don’t Wanna Waste My Life” and “Background”. I don’t move much, compared to everyone else there… I stayed in the background… haha… But I did raise my hands on this one. I had to. I want Jesus to use me and yet… I want HIM to be at the forefront of my life… and I will stay in the background. Loved it. So glad I decided to go with my little rapper Wes. Touching night… Great night! To see change in men and Love FOR Jesus… that’s a good “change”. Listen here…. my favorite one of the night… Background
