Remember this today ladies… Keep it up! Keep fighting. Keep those standards held high!
And make sure your heels match
Sometimes it hurts, but it’s worth it! Standards look good on you. And of course heels do too. Hugs!!

Alright so I did a little short video on this… and the thoughts that I would like to hilight are:
Hey Ladies!! Ok, I wanted to take you along with me to go shopping. One of the things I LOVE to doooo!! A fashionable thing goin on right now is jean leggings. Also known as jeggings. I LOVE, love, love mine. Wearing them with boots too. Love this look. There are ways that you can wear them that I believe are fashionable and classy. Not giving off wrong messages. I have a couple pair darker ones… and also a light washed out pair. So watch the video as we find things that you should wear with jeggings. The picture shown here is how not to wear Jeggs. A no, no in my book. Doesn’t even really look that great. ((( It’s always good to have something go over the ole backside;) )))) Let’s go shop!
I want to bring to you a great book! (Another one of my favorite things) I just bought this at the Christian bookstore and have already enjoyed it a lot. There are some great things that Leslie covers. I like her. She stnads up and says things a lot of people won’t say today. I like that fact that she is relevent and lives in the today world, yet she speaks the truth about our needing to get back to some of the “old-fashioned” ways of life = God’s ways.
So off of Leslie’s blog I found another neat blog. This girl Christa Taylor sells cute, feminine affordable, fashionable clothes. And part of the profits go to orphan work! What a cool idea. She also has a cool blog you should check out.
I have always loved fashion, style and beauty. It’s a fun, very girly and feminine thing to do. Something that is perfectly healthy and normal if your a girl. This is something you should do, I beleive, if you are a Christain young lady. Too often Christian young women find it wrong to be stylish or look beautiful or enjoy fixing up. I beleive this is a wrong way to think! Beauty is something God given. See our Bible heroine Esther ( though I don’t recommend spending, what was it 12 months? in a row just on your personal appearance, as she did ) she was beautiful and God used her mightily because of it!
Recently my sister Hannah found a cute book at Borders that she showed me, knowing I would also love it. (Thanks Hannah) It’s called “The Little Black Book Of Style” by Nina Garcia. It’s really a cute book and I love reading it. I think it’s good to be as stylish as we can as Christian young women. We of all people should know how to be stylish in the right way. I actually would like to write more about this subject a little later. Based on a question I recieved from a girl thinking about all of this. Coming soon. Anyway!…
My style is that I love unique things. Realizing that this IS your style. The things that you really like are the things that set you apart and make you kind of your very own person. Of course, some people need more help with seeing fashion then others. But I like this rule that if you like it and others say “That looks like you” then this is your unique style!
So in other words, do your own thing! Make your own style. When people see something unique in the mall or in the store they say your name. That is YOU! So be stylish, have fun! Find your own way. Let me tell you it can be a challenge to find beautifully stylish things that are modest and honorJesus. I am not expert and never claim to be. But, IT CAN BE DONE. Yes it can.
With the start of a brand New Year I would like to start a small serious on feminine-ness! (that’s my own word) I believe that true feminine-ness is true beauty. There is such a need today for real women (and men but we won’t go there right now). I hope this series will help you really think Biblically about who God has created you to be. We will start with one of the most importnant parts of femininess though outward femininity is so very important as well.
I have recently started a little newsletter I will be sending every week for young ladies. I am excited about helping to encourage others in this beautiful journey we are all on -loving Jesus more and more. So by these simple thoughts of mine I hope that it will encourage you. Also I will be adding little bios of great woman of the Faith and also little tips and things all girls enjoy!! I hope that I hear from you! My prayer is to encourage as many girls as I can as we all continue on this beautiful walk of “Faith & Hope”…
