Welcome to hollyallene.com! I am Holly. I was born April 14, 1984. I love life. And I know that Jesus is the Creator of Life. True Life.

I am a hairstylist at Ulta Salon. And I also work at a place selling haircare to licensed beauty professionals and salons in the area. I love and enjoy working in this profession but my heart and my passion will always be ministry. So I love to include videos, and blog posts and product reveiws on beauty and makeup! Because that’s just fun!

Through this website for Christian Young Woman I hope you will be encouraged, motivated and get your thoughts going in all kinds of diverse issues and topics regarding a Christian young woman in today’s world. ~ the wave ~ texture & volume

Today I did “The Wave”. I used my large three barrel curling iron. The main thing you want to remember is :
1. Texture.
It’s what makes this hair style. Have a non-sticky, texture cream is key! So, I am a product junky. And in all of my research and trying TONS of different product I have found that “Surface” has some great product. It is an all natural line of haircare. This one is called “Taffy Whip”. It actually smells just like taffy too! What you do is put a good amount in your hands and litarally clap your hands over your hair. I know it sounds crazy. But the little fibers and texture will evenly distribute over your hair giving you just the right amount of product on your hair! Do this before and after you three barrel it. On one side of my hair I just did the “taffy” after I had 3-barreled it and you can tell the other side has more texture. And held better! This will give you peicey, texture! Also, if you have bangs like, I just recently got… doing the same thing over your bangs and then peicing them out with your fingers gives them a nice texture too. Try it out!

::NEW:: Video BlogGing – For the New Year… Golden Accents

Ok, I am really excited about something new I have been wanting to do with my website. I few new changes will be coming but right now… I want to introduce my first video. Actually recorded in probably November… I really had no intention of posting it… so I was acting kinda crazy… but I found it and wanted it to be apart of my first of my video blog, even though it is a little crazy :) . I got a few new things in my makeup bag and a polish. So I call it “The Gold Collection”. Gold is FAB-u-lous for the New Year.

Now while recording this I had a family member laughing at me… thus I keep giving them “The look” and I have the structure of the eye a little messed up I say “Crease of the eye” when it’s really not and so forth. Little issue with the sound haha not sure why! I think my little computer was having a problem recording. But all that being said and done… Just a fun video. I so enjoy makeup, hair, fashion, girl talk and inspirational talks about Jesus. So this is something I plan on making a part of my regular blogging website along these lines. Thanks for watching!
