At the age of three my Dad brought me up on stage and I sang my first song in church. At a very young age I began listening to old country, bluegrass and gospel music. Being a Pastor’s Daughter, I grew up on the old hymns of the faith sung by the congregation every Sunday.
Some of my favorite memories in the world are of times of singing in small rural churches in the back country and deep hills of Kentucky and Tennessee.
It says in the Bible in Psalm 40 verse 3;
“And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD” Ps. 40:3
